Ex-DUP leader Sir Jeffrey Donaldson, 61, has been sent for trial after a judge said he was satisfied there was a prima facie case to answer over allegations of historical sexual offences.

Donaldson has been charged with 18 historical sex offences after the Public Prosecution Service (PPS) reviewed police evidence, as is the normal practice.

He was originally charged with 11 sex offences in April.
