The UNICEF rapid qualitative assessment in February 2024 found that survivors of cholera and families of the deceased faced significant financial and physical barriers. In response, ‪@UNICEF‬ collaborated with the Ministry of Community Development and Social Services, using UNICEF funds through the In-Kind Support Initiative, to provide financial assistance to vulnerable households and individuals affected by the cholera outbreak. The assistance provided addressed their urgent needs, such as water supply, chlorine, charcoal, soap, and more. #unicef #cholera #response #support
