This video is when I was out alone in high waves. The wind was just right on this part of the river. There fore the waves were building is size on themselves. The waves ranged between 1 and 2 1/2 feet. I have never had a wave come in the bow of my canoe, until this day. The hard part was making the turn to head back down, without flipping the canoe.
