Persona 3's story leaves us with a lot of unanswered questions. The biggest source of these unanswered questions is that the most central character in Persona 3 never speaks, and is rarely spoken about. The few people who know about her tell us very little.

We trace the story of Nyx over a 4.5 billion year history, diving into Persona lore that was never published outside of Japan, the works of H.P. Lovecraft, astrogeology, tarot, Aleister Crowley, and of course, Jungian psychology.
