Part 1 of 2: We took the kids out on there first real backpacking trip. 8 and 5. In Western Maryland. Once school was closed we hit the trail! Since we didn’t have to get up for school as early it made it a-little easier to add in some trips with the kids. We stay the first night at a back camp because of heavy storms coming. But hit the trails first thing in the morning. Come with us and see the excitement in these little guys as we banged out 21 miles in Maryland with them.
