What are Grounding Conductors?
Purpose of grounding conductors: to dissipate current in the event of a spike in energy
NEC mandates that a grounding system be designed to limit the amount of objectionable current on the grounding conductors in all grounding systems
o Steps to eliminate excess current:
I. Disconnect one or more of the grounding connections in your system, but not all connections
II. Change the location of certain grounding locations within the grounding system
III. Disconnect grounding bond between different grounding connection
