We are so excited to finally be here exploring this thriving city! Our first stop is of course banh mi from Banh Mi Huynh Hoa (the best in the world). Next we burn some calories working through the serene Tao Dan Park on our way to Independence Palace (also called Reunification Palace). We learn more about the history of the city and the war there and at the War Remnants Museum before moving on to Notre Dame Cathedral of Saigon. Just like Notre Dam in Paris, this one is deep in construction. After a visit to Book Street to purchase a homemade postcard, we send mail home to America from the historic Saigon Central Post Office. We see Hoa Chi Minh City People's Committee and the Ho Chi Minh City Opera House on our way to Pasteur Street Brewing Company, the first craft brewery in Vietnam! The beer is incredible, and the brewery hidden down an alley has such cool NYC kind of vibes! We walk down Quang Truong Nguyen Hue to Vina Chuoi for some deliciously friend bananas (as seen on Vietnam's Shark Tank). We finish the night with a gorgeous view of the massive city at Saigon Sky Deck in the Bitexco Financial Tower.

For Ivan, a former NASA engineer, it is creating an engineering product that will change the world!
