Then it’s Bryce Griggs on the run, nice reverse layup to finish and he’s fouled as well.
More Griggs, this time a turn-around jumper along the baseline and he’s just getting warmed up.
Later, it’s Jacory Chatmon on the fast break, he lays it in for two and Hightower races out to an early 20-point lead.
How about some fireworks, O’Neil tosses the lob to Cameron Collins for the alley-oop stuff, Hurricanes up 38-27 at intermission.
Shadow Creek makes a run in the third as Will Young knocks down the three for the Sharks.
Then Young drives into the paint and tosses up the runner for two, Sharks pull within three.
But Griggs has the answer for Hightower, connecting for three from long distance and gets a high-five from a fan on his way back down the floor!
More Canes, Christopher Harris drives and finishes in style with the nice up and under move.
The Sharks simply don’t have an answer for Griggs, he drives, draws the foul, and somehow gets the shot to go, he pours in 46 points for the Hurricanes as Hightower knocks off Shadow Creek, 80-64 is the final.
