▼ IMPORTANT ▼ In this video we will see an example (exercise) solved of a third degree algebraic equation, solved by Newton Raphson's method (it could also be solved by other methods, such as Cardano Tartaglia's formulas), which is an application of the derivative, in which we apply a recursive formula to calculate approximations to the root of the function (polynomial in this case), substituting some values of the function, using intermediate value theorem for continuous functions, or also through the graph of the function . We calculate the root with a precision of 5 decimal places. Everything explained step by step.
