This video compilation is the first of a 2 part series that covers my journey from Mumbai to Pune. I was traveling on the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus MGR Chennai Central Madras Express that was hauled by an "EMD BEAST" Pune WDP4D!!

PART 1 covers the initial leg of the journey with the train's shunting into CSMT and subsequent departure and ends with the train's departure from Lonavla Station and passing the freight yard outside Lonavla!!

This part also covers the train's run through the SCENIC BHOR GHATS in the monsoon season and arrival & departure from Dadar Central, Thane & Lonavla Stations and Kalyan & Karjat Junctions!!!
