Sinds mei 2021 is er een nieuw Vlaams mediadecreet die Youtubers enkele regels doet volgen. Zo zie je onder mijn video steeds de verplichte tag 'publicitieit' en zie je ook bij het begin van de video de melding 'bevat een betaalde promotie'. Deze verplichte meldingen zijn steeds nodig als je als Youtuber inkomsten door advertenties, commissies door affiliate links of producten van externe partners krijgt.
