Join the TPL crew, John Faber (Acting Golf Lead, City of Calgary), Jeff Babich (Senior Superintendent, City of Calgary), Oliver Tubb (Oliver Tubb Design), Alex Hay (Lobb + Partners) & Lisa “Longball” Vlooswyk as they talk a stroll around Calgary’s most accessible golf course. The group explores the traffic, the 80,000 rounds played here in 2022, along with the 5 million balls that were struck at this driving range. They also discuss the delta between North America compared to the UK when it comes to municipal golf in a box. They also discuss ths significance of this property in the Calgary community, and the potential for its future.


Is Shaganappi perfect? Perhaps not. But, it offers plenty of smiles AND angst (see Alex Forbes of TPL). Shag’s future is bright. While it’s already a property worth seeing, even if just for its potential - we can’t wait to see how this place evolves in the coming years.
