While my parents were out of town I decided to try making a LEGO train layout that did a circuit around my whole first floor. Didn't have quite enough straights, but still managed to do it with some additional curves. The train is my Buildington Locomotive Works 4-6-2 Streamlined Hydro-Steamer, which after a bit of troubleshooting, was even able to make it through the zig-zag section.
