The Austin 1800 model entered my collection thanks to my friend from the United States, who gave me several Triang Spot-on models. These models are quite rare on the market and their prices reach significant amounts. The Austin 1800 was a complete but well-worn model. Its windshield was virtually non-existent and its front bumper had no side whiskers. I removed these inconveniences and brought the model to a state in which it can be presented.
