Curious what a CIE Plot is used for in color grading? In this video DaVinci Resolve trainer, Daria Fissoun covers the CIE Plot, a tool found in many editing and color grading systems.

The CIE Plot (sometimes referred to as the 1931 or XYZ plot) is a chromaticity diagram used to represent all colors that humans can perceive.
For colorists working in HDR workflows, this scope is useful for checking gamut errors.

Please Note: While this training is done within Nobe OmniScope many of the general concepts can be applied to any video application that has native video scopes including Resolve, Baselight, Scratch, Avid Media Composer, Premiere Pro and more.
