Using the King of Spades balling spade to transplant a 4' tall black locust tree. This tree was growing wild on the edge of my hay field. I marked this tree last Fall to transplant the following Spring. Black locust trees are easy to transplant and adapt readily to their new location. We plant these trees as they will provide an excellent nectar source for our bees. No reason to cut these trees down when they can be transplanted to a spot where you want them growing. A tree of this size would cost $10-$15
