June is International Pride Month. While Nepal observes different LGBTQI events around the year, this year the country observed the Pride Parade that was not just being celebrated in the Pride month, but was also led by young people below the age of 25. Conversations today around gender are fast changing. While we are more inclusive and sensitive about gender identities, it’s still not an easy journey for most people from the LGBTQI community, and thus it becomes crucial that we acquaint ourselves with their different challenges. In this issue of WOW, five individuals from the queer community discuss their journey and what it means to live with Pride.
