As a reseller, this frustrates me to know I'm competing against fakes out there.

Most people have no idea there are real and counterfeit / fake batteries out there. Not all are created equal.

I am exposing my findings after buying what was listed as a genuine original battery I had purchased on eBay.

Most of the cheap batteries you see listed on eBay and Amazon are scams. They all lie about them being authentic Milwaukee batteries. These are produced in very similar packaging that make people believe these are original, but in reality, these are knockoffs.

To really know the difference, you have to have both. Here, I show my findings and what I noticed to be different between these copies. To be honest, these are very similar and really hard to tell.

Hopefully, this video will help you make a better decision on choosing your next purchase online.

Now, this is only my findings on Milwaukee batteries, but this is also the same for Dewalt, Makita, Ridgid, Ryobi, and many more brands. I can't say anyone is safe from being dueped to buying knockoff batteries or even a tool.

No one is safe. Do your research. Looks for signs. Be safe out there
