Sunday June 2 2024 at 0721 hours Northeast Stokes Fire & Rescue Station 36 personnel were dispatched to a reported working residential structure fire with animals entrapped. 18-36 arrived and reported 2 singlewide mobile homes, multiple outbuildings, and multiple vehicles involved. 36 personnel arrived and deployed hand lines and established water supply via tanker shuttle. Personnel made entry into the home and rescued 5 dogs. Treatment of the dogs was turned over to Stokes County EMS. Oxygen was administered and animals were released to owner in great condition. Personnel continued to extinguish exposures and kept residence to room and contents only. Special thanks to our mutual aid for the great response and help.
