On April 25th, 2015 I headed down to Southern Missouri and Northern Arkansas to find some trains along the BNSF's Thayer North and Thayer South Subdivisions. We only went about 5-10 miles down the Thayer South Sub, and shot only photos of one train. After that we spent the day following the mainline in a north westerly direction toward Springfield Missouri. We some trains along the way and we shot a couple of them on video. When we made it to Springfield we spent till sunset on the Jefferson Ave. footbridge, one of the longest footbridges in the U.S. Here we saw some more trains, but I had left my video camera and tripod in the car. So I decided to test out the video capabilities of my Canon 70D without an external mic or the wind reduction feature on. We saw some cool stuff, in a fairly scenic part of Southern Missouri in the Ozarks. Here are the trains I shot on video enjoy!
