Hey there,

This video follows my 20’ X 20’ pergola build in the backyard. I finished the pergola back in June in order to set up the pool below it in time for my son’s birthday. Big thanks to Micaela for staining the boards, to Russ for letting me borrow his trailer, and to Jay for digging out the foundation for the pool. This was a fun project that the whole family can enjoy.

There are many ways to build and many different methods and tools to use and this video just documents the way I went about this project. I hope this video inspires you to build something and maybe using some reclaimed materials as well.
