When looking for a vintage sewing machine, it can be easy to pass over the myriad array of choices we have. This is definitely true of the many Japanese made Class 15 bobbin style machines from the '50s. In spite of all of the machines I have had the privilege to overhaul over the years, little powerhouses like this still impress me. Consider what kinds of projects you want to sew on and if you have no brand loyalty, you can find yourself quite the worker in many of these machines. AND they cost less than some of their more famous (often deservedly so) competitors! Simple to set up and operate, they represent incredible bargains for those wanting strong vintage "Heirloom" quality machines that can be purchased and restored for very little!
