We can do this, New Jersey. We need to.

There is a bill pending in the NJ Legislature to establish a Reparations Task Force that will allow esteemed experts throughout the state to study our history and propose targeted and strategic policy recommendations for reparative justice.

It also calls for community meetings across the state at a time when many are trying to stifle honest conversations about our past.

Repairing our nation's original sin belongs to all of America, including New Jersey.
