In this video I look at the word TRANSLUCENT to inspire me to create textile samples using just tulle, organza and coloured bin bags! I use fabric manipulation techniques of PLEATING and RUCHING.

Hello I'm Sally an art and textiles teacher who set up my small teaching business @didsburyartstudio after leaving my full-time teaching job in a school in the UK. Since then I have been exploring my passion for art/textiles by building up a portfolio of new skills from courses I have been on and a recent Internship in Millinery. I supply teach in secondary schools, run textile workshops and also work part-time in a hospital teaching art.
