The STEPR+ introduces smart trainer-led content to the stair climber. The training classes lead you through HIIT workouts and steady-state workouts. Some of the classes also incorporate more complex moves like skipping the middle step, glute kickbacks, and more. STEPR aims to keep their content free or as affordable as possible, which makes the STEPR+ a high-value cardio machine despite its premium price.

The screen is 27 inches. It rotates for easy off-machine viewing. This allows users to use the strength training classes available on the STEPR+. The frame has anchor points that allow you to attach resistance bands. There are also core and mobility classes available to supplement your stair climbing.

In addition to the training content, there are entertainment options. Currently, the STEPR+ has Netflix, YouTube, and Spotify.

There are 25 speeds on the STEPR+. These range from a very gentle pace to a very fast, hopping pace. It doesn’t quite reach a run, but it is close and certainly challenging enough. The STEPR+ is loud, but the noise helps you stay on pace. It can take a few training sessions to get used to the speed enough to not look down the whole time you are training.

The STEPR+ is compact enough to fit into the average home. Users under 6 feet tall can use the STEPR+ with an 8-foot ceiling. The machine is also narrow enough to fit through a standard doorframe. The steps are shorter than traditional stair climbers, making the machine more compact and beginner-friendly.
