There are a lot of DIY water fountain videos on YouTube - and I am SO glad you clicked on mine!
My water fountain is a little bit different than most. I wanted it to be more like a water feature - something of a focal point for the No Dig Flowerbed I made in my front yard. This is such an easy project - anyone can create a water fountain like this in an afternoon! Seriously! You can build this in the morning, and then by afternoon, you will be enjoying your very own water feature!
And the best part of this project is how affordable it can be made.
This is how you make a solar water fountain:
STEP 1 – MAKE A BASE FOR YOUR DIY SOLAR WATER FOUNTAIN
STEP 2 – FILL HOLES IN THE HANGING PLANTER
STEP 3 –ADD A HOLE IN YOUR PLASTIC PLANTER
STEP 4 – ASSEMBLE YOUR DIY SOLAR WATER FEATURE
STEP 5 – ADD ALGAEFIX TO YOUR DIY FOUNTAIN (OPTIONAL)
STEP 6- ENJOY!
Find a sunny location for your fountain. It doesn’t have to be in full sun for the solar panel to work, but it needs at least partial sun.
