In this video you'll get to see how rust bluing is used to achieve that dark metal black color that these old firearms are known for having. Rust Bluing is strongly coherent and was a technique used by many gun manufacturers in the early 1900s and still a technique used today by many gunsmiths. While most Lee Enfields had a special paint that they were finished with, rust bluing is able to get to that same color pretty darn close as you'll see.
