If your a bigger person, like me, you probably worry about getting back on your kayak if you fall off. With this technique, you can boost your confidence and be more comfortable on the water.
This is not a "sure thing" technique, it's just what works for me. But, it should at least give you somewhere to start! Actually doing it was the scary part for me. Now, I have much greater confidence on the water!
I know that what I do on the ground and what I do on the yak look like two different things. They aren't really that different. By practicing what I did on the ground, I was able to do what I did on the yak!
Remember, CENTER of balance is the most important part! Keep your head over the center of the hull and all will be fine.
