In this video I teach you how to make a Roman helmet in aluminum. You can make this from any metal you like though, or even EVA foam or Worbla for cosplay. Would would very well for the World of Warcraft Blasphemous comic and video game protagonist, The Penitent One. Brotherhood of Silent Sorrow.

If you missed the first video where I made the mask, you can see that video here:    • Making a Roman Mask in Metal

Also be sure to see the metal mask I made for Crypto Face here:    • Making a Samurai Mask for Crypto Face!

It is believed that Ancient Roman soldiers wore masks and helmets like this in parade ceremonies, or it's possible that only cavalry wore them. Some research indicates that masks were more common and worn by others in the army as well. In any case, this is not meant to be historically accurate. I purposely simplified some of the design to make it easier for a beginning metalworker to accomplish. I also put a bit of my own flare into the design, making it more like fantasy armor.

For the tool I use in the video for making the finished edge, see my Infinity Gauntlet tutorial here:    • YOU can make the Infinity Gauntlet!   (at about the 11 min 30 second mark)
