Review on H&N CAMPSITE:
❖ Toilet 2/5: (not very clean), 2 toilets & 2 bathrooms for both male & female.
❖ Plug point : NIL
❖ Kitchen and sink 2/5: Sink located next to toilet. Washer not included; Dustbin not included.
❖ Fire pit 0/5: No designated firepit. If you wish to have your own campfire, bring your fire stove and camp woods.
❖ Woods for campfire 4/5 : Yes, Woods may be too big, need saw or axe. Fallen trees allow to use for campfire.
❖ River Stream 0/5: NIL, beach only.
❖ Beach 2/5: Sea water pretty dirty with rubbish.
❖ Beach sand 5/5: Very fine sandy beach.
❖ Parking 3/5: Moderate parking area, can park around 20 cars.
❖ Forest feels 3/5: Moderate forest feel. Plenty of shades.
❖ Parking distance to campsite 3/5: around 60m to main campsite, depends where you plan to set tents. Far left & right around 100m
❖ Type of car to enter : 4X4 (can), lorry (can), sedan(can), modify lower car (can), bike (can) to parking spot only.
❖ Compatible with campervan : Not allow, campervan and campercar can’t enter beach side.
❖ Phone signal Coverage : 3 to 4 bars, For Maxis.
❖ Security/safety 2/5: Pretty public campsite. Because anyone can enter to the campsite for picnic, walk in & out.
❖ Rubbish disposal : NIL Rubbish bins not provided.
❖ Upon arrival & departure : NIL
No welcome by the management, after you set up your tent only the person in charge will come over to collect fees from you.
❖ Leisure activities : NIL, no activities.

Overall point of view:
Camping ground very fine sandy beach, 100% need to use sand pegs for setting up tents & flysheet, normal pegs can not hold. Or DIY using wood pegs.
No Lighting in the bathroom & toilet. Inconvenient when going to toilet at night.
Huge camp areas. Beach view is astounding.
Only have 2 toilets with 2 bath rooms each for female & male. If Public holiday very crowded with outsider.
No mosquitoes at camp site. But got plenty of crabs and a snake. So, make sure zip up your tent to prevent snake entering your tent.
Wagon is not provided. Need to cross a wood bridge. Wagon can go through.
Overall good experience, nice cooling weather & great sea view with nice tall & big pine tree. But no privacy especially on weekends or holidays.
Keep an eye on your belongings. Because when weekend or public holiday, plenty visitor come in & out.
