Paris has a declared, bold goal of being the "Best City in the World for Cycling... by 2020". Thus spake the Mayor Anne Hidalgo back in 2014. So what does an urban designer - who specializes in bicycle infrastructure and bike-friendly cities all over the world - think when he takes a deep dive into the State of Cycling in Paris? Three years after the "declared goal"?
