Hey guys! This is another of the 'How To Apply' Series that I'm doing as I research the entry process for every single post graduate medicine course in the country. I'm in the same place as you all, trying to wrap my head around the many different pathways to medicine and so I figured I would share my learnings to help simplify the process for everyone.

In this video we look at the many different entry schemes to the Doctor of Medicine course at The University of Melbourne. You may want to use the timestamps below to jump to specific entry pathways as some pathways may not be relevant to you.

If you've got any questions or if I may have missed something, do let me know. I'm no expert so if you're unsure about something, the best thing to do is ask the Admissions team at UniMelb or consult the GEMSAS admissions guide. The information in this video is still prospective for 2023 entry and is based on the latest GEMSAS guide (2022 entry) and the UniMelb website but this may be subject to change.

Hey, I'm Jesse, I'm a professional private tutor and founder of Simplified Study Tutoring. Since 2011, I've been helping students take a simpler approach to their studies and educating people in anything from science and maths to English and economics. I also recently sat the GAMSAT in March 2021 and achieved one of the highest scores in the sitting (84) and a perfect score of 100 in the science section. Hopefully, those are credentials enough to give this video a good watchin'.
