I previously made a video on How to Make the Rustic Farmhouse Tray that I used in this video. In this video I go over the steps required to make a Weathered/Rustic and Distressed Wood Look finish. When sanding it is best to start off with a high grit sandpaper, like a 220-grit, to get it nice and smooth. Then go to a lower grit, like an 80-grit, to make it more distressed. Keep sanding until you get the look that you are looking for. This was my first attempt and trying this method and it turned out amazing. If i can do, so can you, so give it a try.
