In a stunning rebuke of the conventional NBA-player style of putting apostrophes wherever they want in their name, Oshae Brissett has resolutely refused to include even one of the punctuation marks. "O'Shae" just looks a whole lot better, but Brissett has his convictions and he's sticking with them. I respect that.

Problem is, whenever I see his name I automatically think of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, or OSHA for short. Are they the ones who said it's not okay to look at a computer screen for more than an hour without a 15 minute break? Because if so, screw them, DownToBuck does what he wants, and what he wants is to make vids for hours straight without so much as a sip of water.

Anyway, injuries are kinda messing with the Raptors rotations really hard right now, so it was just a matter of time before Brissett got his chance. Pretty much everyone on the roster has already had their chance (sans Shamorie Ponds, Stanley Johnson, and Dewan Hernandez), now it's Brissett's turn. He's had a little streak of over 10-minute appearances recently, and the Raptors have even won some of those games (indicating that he is at least competent enough to not totally tank a team when he's on the court, something you can't say about a lot of these two-wayers).

His increase in minutes has now culminated in a generous 22-minute allotment tonight against the Blazers. Often, with a career-high in minutes comes a career-high in points, and Brissett did not disappoint. 12 points may not sound like much, but considering he'd only scored 18 over the whole rest of his career, it totally is. By my calculations (which are always right and never wrong), this performance is equivalent to Stephen Curry scoring roughly 10,000 points in a single game. You'd absolutely watch a vid of such a performance, so why not watch this one?
