Last September (2023) we got to play Eric Clapton's Crossroads Guitar Festival and we rehearsed for two weeks solid to come up with the most rock solid 10 minute set we could possibly imagine. We were booked to play the satellite "tweener stage" which meant we got to play a short set during the change over on the main stage. Here's what those rehearsals looked like...

We timed the set and played it hundreds of times, agonizing over every beat, tempo, and transition. By the time we were done, we were able to get through the three song medley in exactly the same amount of time, +/- a few seconds...

Then, when we got to LA, we got a call asking if we would be able to play 15 minutes on THE MAIN STAGE. Which meant we threw out the original transitions and just played the songs down like we normally did. To be honest, I think the shorter set had a bit more excitement and energy to it, but if any of you were at the show, you can let us know in the comments!
