I invite you to join me on this fabulous journey from the Rumichaca International Bridge (Ecuador/Colombia) to the city of San Juan de Pasto, Nariño (Colombia).

The infrastructure work was carried out through the concession contract called "Unión del Sur". It consisted of: 15.7 kilometers of rehabilitation of the Rumichaca - San Juan de España (Ipiales) road, followed by 62.1 km of 4G dual carriageway to the township of Catambuco (Pasto), and 5.2 km of rehabilitation of the road from Catambuco to San Juan de Pasto.

We will contemplate some of the beautiful landscapes that can be seen from the top of the mountains where the new dual carriageway runs through.

In the same way, we will see viaducts built at great height, such as: Boquerón, Tablón Alto, Macal, El Porvenir, Sapuyes, Guáitara and Magdalena.

Important: Along the way we find recommendations on the use of the engine braking technique, due to the long slopes.
