Olympic shot putter Ziyad Zolkefli was stripped of his gold medal after the event was concluded and after his appeal was denied. He was initially allowed to compete because the judges wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt if "exigent circumstances" made him 3 minutes late. They later ruled against him and striped him of his position and medal.
