This is my third Philips RF8 radiogram I have serviced. They are a very good sounding radiogram and I am always amazed at the performance of these units. This one has some problems, no left channel and the record player doesn't work. This should be an easy fix... or is it. Join me while I probe the inner workings of this Philips masterpiece.

My Digital Signal Generator:
The Signal Generator is a project kit from a local electronics magazine called Silicon Chip, there is a sister publication in the UK called Practical Electronics, it was featured in the April 2018 edition but mine has a oscilloscope function as well which I don't use. There may be a later edition in PE with that feature.
