At the beginning of May 2022, a pure electric BYD K9UB DW bus arrived in Miskolc, which was open to the public for passenger service. Ten of the Chinese bus manufacturer's K9 series buses arrived in the city that year, but the test vehicle was not yet from this fleet. The BYD buses that arrived to MVK in August and went into service were of the latest generation, with modified door layouts and rear seating, among other features. The MVK's buses have been on the roads of Miskolc since the end of August 2022.
