Ahhhh the World Cup was such a Great experience! This is pt 1 of my vlog, with only videos of my sister and I, I’ll upload a pt 2 soon with other competitors I watched!

Im so grateful to have had this opportunity to go and compete at the tournament! My division was pretty big with about 20 competitors. I made it past 2 kata round and almost made it to finals but lost to the silver medalist 😔 still it was so fun and such a great experience! For sparring I uh… no comment. Absolutely lost first round with 0.5 to 2.5 💀💀 I’ll get better soon trust 😔 I actually didn’t really include the video of my sparring because I found it a bit embarrassing to show YouTube me being beat up 🤐 but if you’re interested in watching the video let me know, I guess?

My sister also did really well, smashing her first round of kata but sadly losing her second round to the gold medalist omg!! Her sparring went well as well, winning the first round but then losing her second round. Still, big big props because she was a FRESH ONE WEEK black belt going up against black belts of YEARS!

My next big karate goal is placing in nationals or world cups as a brown belt!! Posting these videos motivates me to reach my goals for karate, I hope you enjoy 😜
