On February 23, 2024, Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier took a look at the training of Ukrainian armed forces by the Special Training Command (STC) of the EU training mission EUMAM UA at the Klietz military training area and visited the mobile logistics troops of the Bundeswehr base before the anniversary of the Russian attack on Ukraine (February 24, 2022). He was received by Defense Minister Boris Pistorius and the Ukrainian ambassador, Oleksiy Makeyev, as well as the commander responsible for training, Lieutenant General Andreas Marlow.

The video first shows the arrival of the ambassador, the defense minister and the federal president. This is followed by a short introduction to combat shooting - live fire with the on-board cannon and machine gun of the Leopard 1A5 main battle tank. Afterwards there is a tour and discussions with various units involved and at the end you can see the departure for the dynamic demonstration of the armed forces base (SKB) on the topics of logistics and repairs.
