This is the ambient electronic track Stargazer, by the musician mnemonic.

On this track I recorded the Waldorf Iridium and Prophet 5 to form part of the pad bed and the longer phrases. For the shorter phrases i used a Roli Intuos and a Roli Equator phrase in MPE mode to bring some subtle movement. I find the Intuos a bit tricky to play so i kept it simple. I need a LOT more practise with ir!

The sequence is made up of four parts, edited to give a generative feel, a couple of the parts are using the Prophet, layered with a patch from Omnisphere. I also used the Prophet 5 for the base, I think the Prophet 5 sounds amazing going low-end stuff as well as everything else.

In the effects department I has my trusty chain of Strymon Bigsky, Timeline, and a Hologram Microcosm. I built the track in #bitwigstudio, and mixed in UA console via a couple of Apollo x8's with a few UA plugins to give the track a little warmth.
