Antigua was the 6th port of call on the Southern Caribbean cruise aboard Carnival Glory. The vast quantities of beaches on the island have earned it the nickname "Land of 365 Beaches".

We took a short tour on the Island which first visited Nelson's Dockyard; there is an interesting tour of the dockyward which is rich with history, but I haven't included it on the video- partly because there was excessive wind noise drowning out the guide.

To relax we headed over to Mystic beach which is normally frequented by locals, but was quiet at the time of our visit due to it being during working hours. There was a quiet bar where you could grab some light food and a cocktail (or more!). I'd recommend a visit as the beach was quiet and a very relaxing place to unwind without the usual hassles that are associated with more popular tourist beaches.

Before heading back on-board the ship, we walked around St. John's but most of the shops are typically located around the cruise terminal at Heritage and Redcliffe Quay. The shops vary from those selling the usual tourist centric products- t-shirts etc to tax-free designer outlets.

There was definetly more to Antigua that would warrant a second, longer visit as we did not have a chance to see all of the island.
