Bases of Hope is a documentary I created in 2013 about 3 individuals who suffered catastrophic neurological injuries that left them wheelchair dependent and with their lives shattered.

It's the story of a former Junior B hockey player Janson Broome who was involved in a motor vehicle accident. The story of Dennis Manarey whose routine knee procedure led to an infection and injured his spinal cord and finally Mitch Brogan, a young student whose life was dramatically altered after being struck by a drunk driver while riding his bike.

This documentary tells the story of their struggle, as well as the need for cutting edge therapies and innovation that was the dream of Christopher Reeve.

Some images could be disturbing however they have been blurred out.
