After his wife's death at the end of series one, Paul Smart (Philip Jackson) has been racked by grief and eventually tried to drown himself in the sea. At the end of series two, he has this epiphany moment when the ghost of Maggie (Phyllis Logan) encourages him to make the most of his remaining time and to take stock of his life.
