These big shows have been a pain this year. We have the speed we just keep messing up in some way shape or form. The night started out looking like we may be able to redeem ourselves and have a solid finish with the World of Outlaws. After qualifying 2nd in our group and winning our heat race, we headed to the redraw and ended up with the 6th starting spot. Car was good at the beginning of the race but slowly faded as we went a little softer on tires. As the race went I noticed the engine was missing and just not running right, so I pulled into the infield. The crew rushed over to take a look and find a fitting that broke off the carb. Just dumb luck. We will get it fixed and move on. Positive note, the car has potential and shows a lot of speed.
