When on retention you will quickly find out that there are many tests that come along with all the benefits from this practice. It's the man's intense focus and boundaries that make the world test his integrity and devotion to something greater.

Urges, temptation, and lust. Three things we try not to think about while on our retention journey. The point is not to avoid these feelings and experiences, but to embrace them. You are a human. You are a man. You are going to feel and think things regardless of your overarching goal to retain.

It's not the man who runs away from temptation by "HIDING IT" or hiding himself. It's the man who can look at all these triggers right in their face...

AND...

CHOOSE DIFFERENTLY. That's when you know you're really transcending your own lower nature and desires. When the urges are there... When the women want you... When your body beckons for release..

BUT the sweet song of success and the unfathomable joy of being a man of discipline is more important to you. When you really solidify this in your mindset, overcoming your own lower desires becomes the only option.

Think big picture. Look at the long term direction your headed. Continue to stack small wins EVERYDAY. It starts to make more sense as we stack "BRICK AFTER BRICK" and the wall of consistency forms itself.
