In this interview with Stephen Jenkinson we explore the pitfalls of excess and what wasn't learned in the ocean gate, deep sea vessel tragedy near the titanic. In connection with what we are facing as a global community at this time, I asked him what he, as a death worker, had asked of those who were dying in his care. These and many more subjects combined were brought to life by his immense heart and mind.

Stephen Jenkinson is an author, poet, farmer, musician, teacher and cultural activist. After spending many years as a palliative care worker, he is perhaps best known for his book "Die Wise" and the 2008 documentary "Griefwalker". The breadth of his thought and work however extend far out past the death trade touching many aspects of our culture.
