Recipe:

Toast your garlic and chili in a dry pan. Mince it very fine after it has gotten a nice char and add your canned tomatoes into a pot. Let your tomatoes come to a boil and reduce the heat to low and add about two tablespoons of olive oil. We want to reduce the amount of water in the salsa so wait until you get a thicker consistency. Cut your red onion into small dices, if you want your salsa to be mellow allow your onion to sit in water for 5 to 10 minutes before adding them into your salsa. Add your garlic and chili mince to the pot with the juice of half a lime.
