A complete guide to Osaka Castle Park, one of the best tourist attractions in Osaka.

Osaka Castle was first built in the 1580s, and while it has been burned down a few times, so the current restoration was completed in 1997 and included elevators for improved access. The park itself opened to the public in 1931 and is a popular destination for runners.

The area also includes Osaka Jo Hall, a famous concert venue, and museums such as Peace Osaka, and a figure museum in the basement of Miraiza.
